Prestwold Hall Winter Wedding Ceremony
INTRODUCTION TO A PRESTWOLD HALL CEREMONY
A winter wedding at Prestwold Hall is truly unforgettable.
As soon as you drive into the wonderful ground of Prestwold you will be welcomed with an incredible selection of trees and bushes possibly covered by snow and the frost covered gardens will guide you first to the 13th century Church of St Andrew and then to the Hall.
Once you step in the Hall you will be welcomed by a stunning and roaring fire and by the super friendly and helpful members of the Prestwold Hall staff.
Within the house, the elegant and light filled library can accommodate up to 140 guests for a ceremony. The windows of the library rise from floor level and open onto the vibrant gardens which enhances the notion that Prestwold was designed in the style of an Italian classical villa, making it the perfect room in the house to tie the knot.
The library extends nearly the entire length of the house when the large doors that separate it from the drawing room are opened, connecting the two rooms.
CEREMONY DESIGN
A winter wedding will not be the same without tons of candles holder and tea lights….all the magical ingredients to wow your guests.
A large floral decoration for the fireplace will be the focal point for the ceremony and if you like can be relocate to your top table for the wedding breakfast.
Prestwold provide chiavari chairs and we will be able to decorate them with sashes, foliage and flowers.
The aisle can also be embellished with a runner of foliage, scattered flowers and floating candles in glass cylinder vases.
At the end of the ceremony the dressed chairs can be used for the wedding breakfast and the aisle decorations either scattered to decorate the room or to be reused either partially or fully as your tables arrangements.
Would you like to see what we can bring to your wedding with our cohesive floral, decor and styling?
